This role involves supporting a large Federal agency initiative by providing expertise in eDiscovery and litigation discovery processes. You will manage and manipulate data, ensuring compliance with ESI specifications and assisting legal teams with document review and production.
Responsibilities
- Perform file manipulation, loading, conversion services, database indexing, and quality checks
- Develop, evaluate, and modify methodologies and procedures for manipulating files for COTS products and litigation support applications
- Ensure incoming productions are made pursuant to applicable ESI specifications
- Perform advanced tasks related to exporting data from contractor and client databases
- Support client attorneys, investigators, and paralegals by tracking and processing incoming documents and data
- Manage documents and data using document review tools, including physical documents and Electronically Stored Information (ESI)
- Coordinate with the client’s Technology Service Center regarding outsourced litigation support projects
- Ensure all exports for productions comply with ESI specifications and client requirements
Requirements
- Knowledge of litigation discovery process and Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) workflow
- Working knowledge of personal computers, including Windows, document review software, and encryption methods
- Experience with LAW, IPRO, Relativity or other document processing platform
- At least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles including electronic files processing (EFP), image and data file conversion, data culling, quality assurance, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree preferred-preferably in computer science or related field
- At least two years’ experience performing eDiscovery roles
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Government’s IT environment, including office automation networks, PC and server based applications
- Familiarity with ICONECT, Relativity, MS Office Suite, and West LiveNote
