Senior Claims Resolution Specialist Attorney Represented, Bodily Injury

About This Role

The Senior Claims Resolution Specialist manages attorney-represented and litigated auto and homeowner's bodily injury claims, ensuring prompt and quality service to policyholders. This role involves investigating, evaluating, and resolving claims of mild to moderate severity and/or complexity.

Responsibilities

• Manage, investigate, and resolve claims, evaluating coverage, liability, and damages within authority levels.
• Identify potential suspicious claims and refer to SIU, and identify opportunities for third-party subrogation.
• Prepare for and attend trials, hearings, and conferences, reporting on their status to management.
• Confer with trial counsel and prepare trial reports.
• Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and claimants to gather information, refer tasks to auxiliary resources, and advise on proper courses of action.
• Respond to various written and telephone inquiries, including status reports.
• Ensure adequacy of reserves and recommend increases on cases exceeding authority.
• Accountable for the security of financial processing of claims and secure information in claims files.
• Update files and provide comprehensive reports as required.
• Responsible for managing the practices and billing activities of outside and in-house counsel.

Requirements

• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, negotiation, and investigative skills
• Strong competency in legal liability, general insurance policy coverage, and State Tort Law
• Ability to obtain proper licensing as required
• Reside within the state of Arizona

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of directly related experience.

• 3+ years of Personal Lines Third Party Auto Casualty experience
• 3+ years of Litigation experience
• Customer service experience
