Senior Claims Advocate

About This Role

The Senior Claims Advocate acts as a primary advocate for complex clients, offering assistance and coverage advice, and monitoring large claims. This role involves consulting with clients and brokers on claims and coverage issues to achieve favorable resolutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as an advocate for complex clients, providing assistance and coverage advice
• Monitor large and complex claims, documenting all pertinent activity
• Consult with clients and brokers on claims and coverage issues
• Facilitate and attend client meetings and claims reviews
• Negotiate changes in reserves for positive client outcomes by line of coverage
• Provide status reports to clients as required by service plans
• Review action plans and reserves with consideration for client costs
• Actively research and obtain claims information from clients and carriers
• Communicate timely and accurately with all interested parties
• Review new problematic or complex claims on designated clients and formulate action plans

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
• 5 years' related experience in Safety, Risk, or Insurance
• Ability to obtain appropriate licenses in all states where business is conducted
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel by car and aircraft and work outside normal business hours as required

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience
• 5 years' related experience in Safety, Risk, or Insurance.
