About This Role

This role involves working directly with client leaders in healthcare to drive change and achieve successful realization of company goals by supporting healthcare providers with growing volume, optimizing price, and capturing value.

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with client leaders and front-line operators to drive change critical to successful realization of client company goals
  • Support healthcare providers with growing volume, optimizing price and capturing value
  • Engage with clients on growth solutions leveraging cutting edge assets and expertise
  • Engage with clients on revenue cycle management capabilities across the value chain to ensure maximum value capture
  • Engage with clients on pricing capabilities that enable providers to excel along the full managed care contracting life cycle
  • Work on topics such as increasing payer yield, improving mid-cycle performance, or reducing collection costs
  • Engage at a deep level across clients’ businesses, working with small teams to build capabilities, systems, and processes needed to deliver bottom-line results and ensure sustainability
  • Problem solve, coach, and deliver lasting outcomes to healthcare clients

Requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience in a healthcare environment with end-to-end revenue cycle transformation experience, including patient access, coding, Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDA), billing, A/R Management, and related IT systems
  • Experience working with external clients, sharing views and recommendations
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues, engage senior leaders, and drive consensus
  • Exposure to managing projects and programs that significantly improve revenue cycle performance
  • Familiarity with revenue cycle technology assets and concepts (descriptive statistics, predictive analytics, machine learning)
  • Strong analytical skills in claims, productivity, access, and volume data
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Comfortable traveling to client sites, up to 60-70% of time

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree; advanced degree is a plus, ideally in a quantitative discipline or a healthcare discipline
  • 4+ years of professional experience in a healthcare environment with end-to-end revenue cycle transformation experience
