Senior AI Developer (RAG & Model Integration)

About This Role

Design, build, and operate production-grade, AI-enabled applications for clients by developing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines, integrating and orchestrating AI models, and optimizing vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines for production use
• Implement document ingestion, embedding, indexing, retrieval, and response generation workflows
• Optimize relevance, latency, and cost across AI-driven systems
• Integrate and orchestrate public and hosted AI models (LLMs, embeddings, multimodal models)
• Develop robust prompt strategies, templates, and chaining logic to reliably drive model behavior
• Evaluate models and approaches to ensure accuracy, performance, and scalability
• Design and operate vector databases and similarity search systems
• Implement data preprocessing, chunking, metadata strategies, and versioning
• Build backend services and APIs using Python and Node.js
• Develop AI-enabled web experiences using TypeScript and Next.js

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer or AI Developer
• Strong Python development experience in production environments
• Hands-on experience building RAG systems end to end
• Experience working with vector databases and semantic search
• Deep experience integrating and operating LLMs and embedding models
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, Node.js, and modern scripting practices
• Experience building and maintaining production-grade applications

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Software Developer or AI Developer

Nice to Have

• Experience with Next.js and modern frontend frameworks
• Exposure to cloud platforms and cloud-native architectures
• Experience monitoring, debugging, and improving AI systems in production
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, or MLOps practices
