This Senior Accountant role focuses on general ledger management, cash reconciliation, and financial reporting for a client in a fast-paced environment. The position ensures the integrity of financial data and supports year-end audit reviews.
Responsibilities
- Oversee general ledger maintenance, cash management, cost analysis, and financial reporting to ensure accurate financial statements
- Ensure integrity of financial data by preparing and analyzing journal entries, reports, and reconciliations for sales, costs, earnings, and taxes
- Assist with year-end audit reviews and support improvements in financial accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
- Prepare property tax filings ensuring accuracy
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Knowledge of fixed assets/depreciation, cash reconciliations, and property tax filing functions
- Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, or similar)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and deliver results in fast-paced environments
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
