About This Role

This Senior Accountant will manage accounting activities for a multi-entity group, focusing on intercompany reconciliations, consolidations, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP. The role involves supporting month-end close, providing technical guidance, and assisting with M&A integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and support intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries
  • Assist with group consolidations, including journal entries and consolidated financial statements
  • Maintain and manage the group chart of accounts and related accounting systems
  • Oversee and support corporate-level accounting activities including payroll, accruals, 401(k) audits, T&E, marketing, and IT expenses
  • Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and training to subsidiary and acquisition finance teams
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS/GAAP and internal accounting policies and procedures
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support audit-related activities
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and documentation of group-wide accounting policies and processes
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis in partnership with finance teams
  • Design, test, and monitor internal controls and risk management processes
  • Provide accounting support for mergers, acquisitions, and post-acquisition integrations
  • Demonstrate technical expertise and leadership to temporarily assume controller-level responsibilities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and analytical capabilities
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, or similar platforms
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity or consolidation environment
