Senior Accountant

About This Role

This role supports a private equity-backed environmental services organization's U.S. expansion by contributing to financial closes, multi-entity reporting, variance analysis, and internal controls, with exposure to an upcoming ERP implementation.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Support multi-entity consolidations and GAAP financial reporting
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist with audit support
• Partner with FP&A on variance analysis
• Apply GAAP across revenue, leases, accruals, and reserves
• Help strengthen internal controls in a PE-backed environment

Requirements

• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong monthly close and financial reporting background
• Audit experience (public or corporate audit support)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Nice to Have

• Public accounting foundation
• Multi-entity or PE-backed exposure
• Microsoft Dynamics Business Central experience
