Senior Accountant - Restaurants

About This Role

This role involves preparing and analyzing financial statements, managing the general ledger, and overseeing accounts payable/receivable for a dynamic restaurant group. The Senior Accountant will ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls while collaborating with operations to enhance financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Oversee AP/AR, vendor payments, and cash flow tracking
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
• Collaborate with operations and leadership to improve financial processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting platforms (NetSuite, QuickBooks, Restaurant 365 etc.)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Detail-oriented, collaborative, and solutions-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of accounting experience (hospitality or multi-unit preferred)

Nice to Have

• Hospitality or multi-unit accounting experience
• CPA or progress toward certification
