Senior Accountant

About This Role

This Senior Staff Accountant role involves leading monthly financial operations for a rapidly growing organization, ensuring accuracy and playing a key part in the company's financial growth. The position requires collaboration across departments to resolve accounting issues.

Responsibilities

• Diligently review the General Ledger and various financial reports to ensure completeness and accuracy
• Prepare and execute timely bank and balance sheet reconciliations
• Prepare invoices and allocation schedules for complex consolidated billings
• Prepare and post routine and non-routine journal entries, including those for depreciation, amortization, and accruals
• Actively participate in the month-end close process
• Identify and investigate financial anomalies and prepare necessary correcting journal entries
• Collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization to address financial inquiries and resolve outstanding accounting issues

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of progressive experience in an Accounting or Finance environment
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including expertise with V-Lookups and Pivot Tables
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
