Senior Accountant

About This Role

Step into a key role as a Senior Accountant at a top Financial Services Firm. This long-term project involves high-level accounting support, overseeing financial operations, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with journal entries, transaction reviews, and balance sheet reconciliations during month/quarter end processes
• Prepare timely and accurate audited financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
• Support quarterly management reporting, including variance and trend analysis
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
• Collaborate with the Financial Controller on various projects to support financial operations
• Gather necessary information for financial reporting from various departments
• Ensure accuracy in all financial documents and reports

Requirements

• CPA with 5+ years post-qualification experience in a multi-currency Financial Services environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in US GAAP
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 5+ years post-qualification experience in a multi-currency Financial Services environment
