Security Officer - Warehouse Rounds

About This Role

As a Part-Time Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients by monitoring designated areas, deterring incidents, and maintaining a visible presence. This role focuses on providing excellent customer service, responding to incidents, and supporting emergency preparedness in a warehouse setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access
• Monitor the location for unusual or suspicious activity, reporting findings according to procedures
• Assist with access control by verifying credentials and/or visitor identification as required by site policies
• Communicate with Allied Universal management and site contacts to relay important information or escalate concerns as appropriate
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts, including participation in drills and following emergency procedures

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age (for unarmed role)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to background investigation
• Subject to drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Being at least 21 years of age
• Access control or badge experience
• Customer service experience
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
