Serve and safeguard clients in various industries, performing routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence to reduce security-related incidents, with a focus on customer service at a retail mall location in Little Rock, AR.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a retail mall location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout interior common areas, exterior walkways, loading areas, and perimeter zones.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to manage access, observe for unusual behavior, and support an orderly customer and tenant experience.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and/or fire and alarm activations, requesting emergency services when appropriate.
- Complete routine checks of doors, gates, lighting, and tenant corridor areas and report maintenance concerns.
- Interact with customers, retailers, and property staff using clear communication, providing directions and general assistance while maintaining a professional presence.
- Document incidents, observations, and patrol activity in written reports and/or electronic logs.
- Assist with crowd management during peak shopping hours and special events.
- Support loss prevention awareness by observing for suspicious behavior and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or law enforcement.
- Follow post orders and radio communication protocols, coordinating with other site personnel to support consistent coverage.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs
- Customer service experience
- Access control and/or badge experience
- Loss prevention experience
