Security Officer

About This Role

Join Sunstates Security as a Security Officer to perform physical patrols, inspect systems, process access requests, and respond to alarms, contributing to a secure environment for clients.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical duties such as patrols, inspections, and emergency response activities
• Perform a minimum of 3 patrols per shift
• Conduct daily Camera audits to ensure systems remain operational
• Process Access and Revoke Access tickets precisely
• Perform tasks such as badge creation, access credential edits, and biometric fingerprinting for clients and customers
• Read and understand Power BI dashboards and reporting, viewing the dashboard daily to address failed alarm responses
• Articulate concerns, comments, and questions via email, work order, or team's channel
• Respond to Alarms and other KPIs according to all Service Level Agreements

Requirements

• Active DCJS License (Or supporting renewal documentation)
• Reliable Transportation
• CPR / AED
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in a Security Operations Center, preferably in data centers, critical infrastructure, or enterprise environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively deliver messages across multiple organizational levels
• Proficiency in report writing
• Experience and Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Active State Security License

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of related experience in a Security Operations Center, preferably in data centers, critical infrastructure, or enterprise environments.
