Security Officer

About This Role

This role involves maintaining order and security presence, monitoring surveillance systems, and reporting security breaches for Sunstates Security. The Security Officer will provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems
• Report suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or security breaches
• Provide excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with all rules and regulations
• Assist with logging in and out trailers using a company tablet provided

Requirements

• Current NJ SORA License
• Valid Drivers License
• Good communication skills
• Reliable transportation
• Experience in customer service, security, or related field
• Ability to assist with logging in and out of the required system by using a tablet
• Ability to work outside/inside gatehouse
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work indoors/outdoors as needed
• Experience watching CCTV
• Teamwork experience

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience in customer service, security, or related field is required.
