Security Officer

About This Role

This role involves protecting client premises and assets through vigilant patrols, conflict resolution, and reporting safety issues, contributing to a secure environment.

Responsibilities

• Resolve and de-escalate conflicts
• Secure entrances and exits
• Conduct patrols inside and outside client premises in various weather conditions
• Interact frequently with client employees and guests
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or suspicious activity
• Protect evidence or scene of incident during accidents, emergencies, or security investigations
• Set up barriers and signage, and provide direction or information to others
• Carry out specific tasks and duties as required for assigned sites

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED program within 6 months
• Standard computer/technology skills
• Ability to interact with a wide range of individuals in a professional manner
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid/effective judgment and appropriate escalation
• Willingness to participate in company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or ability to complete GED program within 6 months

Nice to Have

• Customer service experience
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
