Security Officer - Resort Guest Patrol

About This Role

As a Security Officer at a premier hotel and resort, you will ensure guest safety and satisfaction through routine unarmed patrols, incident response, and clear communication. This role involves safeguarding clients in the hospitality industry by identifying and reporting security issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a hotel and resort location
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken per site requirements
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of guest areas, back-of-house areas, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, assist with after-hours checks, and coordinate with site management and/or local responders as needed
• Complete routine reports such as patrol logs and incident reports, communicate observations to supervisors, and support a positive guest experience through professional presence and assistance

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Alarm panel experience
• Guard card and/or license
• Customer service experience
• CPR certification
