Security Officer - Petrochemical Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in petrochemical facilities by conducting patrols, monitoring access points, and responding to incidents, providing a vital sense of security and order.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, process-adjacent areas, and perimeter
• Monitor access points, verify identification, and direct visitors and vendors
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, access activity, and incident response

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 1 year of security-related experience

Nice to Have

• Access control and badge experience
• Customer service experience
