Security Officer Part-Time Bicycle Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in various industries by monitoring, patrolling, and responding to incidents on a bicycle. This role provides customer service and helps maintain a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and/or guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disturbances, medical calls, and/or lost person assistance
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to deter unwanted activity
• Monitor entrances, corridors, and/or loading areas to manage access and observe for policy violations
• Complete detailed shift documentation, incident reports, and activity logs, and communicate with supervision and site contacts

Requirements

• Ability to ride a bike
• At least 18 years of age (unarmed roles)
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice to Have

• Riding a bike for long periods of time is preferred
