As a Security Officer specializing in Mobile Patrol, you will safeguard clients in various industries, particularly retail, by monitoring assigned areas, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to incidents professionally. This role supports customer service and loss prevention efforts.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients and store associates by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities within a retail location
- Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, stock areas, and exterior perimeter to help deter theft, loitering, and/or other suspicious activity
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including disputes, disruptive behavior, and/or medical situations, and notify management and/or emergency services as needed
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, assisting with access control practices and observing for policy violations and/or potential hazards
- Complete required reports and logs, communicate observations to Allied Universal management and client representatives, and support loss prevention efforts through visibility and timely reporting
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
