Security Officer - Healthcare Site Day Shifts

About This Role

This role involves safeguarding clients at a healthcare site during day shifts, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, and responding to incidents to ensure safety and security.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a healthcare location
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical facility alerts, disorderly conduct, and/or suspicious activity, and notify appropriate personnel as needed
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual conditions, unsecured doors, and/or policy violations
• Support access control by monitoring entrances, verifying identification and/or authorization where required, and directing visitors to appropriate check-in processes
• Complete detailed incident reports and shift documentation, preserve observed facts, and communicate with site leadership and/or public responders when escalation is required

Requirements

• 1+ years of security-related experience
• High school diploma/GED or equivalent
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Subject to a background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen
