Security Officer - Healthcare

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in a government setting as a Security Officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine rounds, and maintaining a visible presence to deter security incidents.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas
• Conduct routine rounds
• Maintain a visible presence to deter security-related incidents
• Respond to reports and/or alarms
• Support access control and visitor guidance
• Document observations with clear communication
• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific protocols, access requirements, and post orders
• Carry out security-related procedures, including identification checks, visitor processing, and monitoring assigned areas
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Complete required reports and logs and communicate unusual activity to supervision

Requirements

• 1+ years of security experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21+ for armed roles)
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen (to the extent permitted by law)
