Security Officer - Foot Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in Bethlehem, PA, by conducting routine foot patrols, deterring security incidents, and assisting with access control for a logistics and distribution location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of the warehouse, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor and document access to the location by verifying identification, controlling entry and exit points, issuing visitor instructions, and maintaining logs for deliveries, pickups, and contractor activity.
• Respond to alarms, disputes, suspicious activity, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating to site leadership and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols, incidents, and observations, and communicate relevant updates during shift change to support continuity of security-related operations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
