Serve and safeguard clients in commercial real estate as a Security Officer by patrolling assigned areas, monitoring access points, responding to incidents, and documenting activities to maintain order and deter security-related incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and contractors by following site-specific procedures and post orders
- Complete required security-related documentation
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office floors, common areas, stairwells, parking areas, and building perimeter
- Identify hazards or maintenance issues for reporting
- Monitor access points and observe people and property for unusual activity
- Help maintain order in lobbies, loading areas, and other shared spaces
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
- Contact site management, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal supervision as needed
- Complete detailed written reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities
- Communicate key information during shift handoff to support continuity of operations
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
