Security Officer - Flex Retail Rover

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in retail environments as a flexible part-time Security Officer, monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, and responding to incidents while providing strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and store guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout the sales floor, receiving areas, and exterior perimeter to deter theft, vandalism, and other unwanted activity
• Monitor store entry and exit points and high-traffic areas, observe for suspicious behavior, and promptly report concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including supporting de-escalation and coordinating with local law enforcement/emergency services
• Complete reports, activity logs, and incident documentation, communicate post orders during shift turnover, and assist with access control and key control

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security experience
• At least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
