This role involves safeguarding clients across various industries as a Security Officer - Flex Evening Patrol. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, document observations, and communicate with staff and emergency responders.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, tenants, and/or visitors by following Allied Universal procedures and site-specific policies
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and escalation protocols
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the location, including interior and exterior areas and the perimeter, as assigned
- Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy violations
- Deter inappropriate behavior through high-visibility presence and professional communication
- Complete detailed reports and logs for incidents, observations, patrol activities, and/or maintenance concerns
- Promptly notify the appropriate personnel as needed
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles)
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice to Have
- Customer service experience
- Access control and/or badge experience
- Valid driver's license (for driving positions only)
