Serve and safeguard clients by monitoring and controlling entry points at a manufacturing and industrial location. This role involves conducting patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and responding to incidents.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed
- Monitor access points to deter unauthorized entry and maintain a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns
- Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel
- Control entry and exit of personnel, vehicles, and/or deliveries according to established procedures for the industrial environment
- Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with access and general inquiries while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age (unarmed)
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass a drug screen
