Security Officer - Corrections Site

About This Role

This role involves serving and safeguarding clients within a corrections site by deterring security-related incidents, conducting patrols, and providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter

Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience
• At least 21 years of age for armed roles; 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of security-related experience

Nice to Have

• Experience using a computer or tablet
• Alarm panel experience
• Access control or badge experience
