Security Officer - Commercial Site - Driver

About This Role

As a Security Officer at a commercial property in Plano, TX, you will safeguard clients by conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and providing customer service. This role focuses on maintaining security, supporting tenants and visitors, and ensuring a safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting property management and/or public services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of common areas, corridors, stairwells, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Control access by monitoring entry points, verifying visitor and/or vendor authorization, issuing visitor instructions, and directing foot and vehicle traffic.
• Complete timely written reports and activity logs, document incidents and observations, and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license
• At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
