Security Officer Armed Banking Center Patrol

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in financial institutions by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to alarms, and documenting observations, all while maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, problem-solving, de-escalating, and notifying management/authorities as directed
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas to deter unwanted activity
• Control access to the location by monitoring entry points, verifying identification, and directing visitors
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems and take appropriate action based on post orders
• Complete detailed reports on shift activities, patrol findings, incidents, and policy exceptions
• Carry and maintain assigned equipment in accordance with licensing, training, and post orders, following use of force guidelines
• Support opening and closing procedures, including checking doors, gates, restricted areas, and key control
• Provide visible presence in customer-facing areas, maintaining professionalism, and assisting with directions
• Coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and location management on security concerns and site changes

Requirements

• 21+ years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Subject to a background investigation
• Subject to a drug screen
• Ability to participate in industry-specific security training programs
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment

Qualifications

• high school diploma or equivalent
• At least 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or possess a college degree

Nice to Have

• CPR Certification
• Alarm panel experience
• Access control and/or badge experience
