Security Officer - Armed ATM Patrol

About This Role

As an Armed Security Officer for ATM Patrol in Hialeah, FL, you will safeguard financial institutions by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, responding to incidents, and maintaining a visible presence to reduce security-related incidents.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location while assigned to an armed post
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including alarm activations, disturbances, and/or medical events, and coordinate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services as needed
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of interior and exterior areas including parking lots, entrances, ATM areas, and perimeter points
• Control access at designated entry points by monitoring visitor flow, verifying identification when required, issuing temporary badges when authorized, and directing individuals to appropriate areas
• Complete detailed written reports and security-related logs, report hazards and/or suspicious activity to site leadership, and follow Allied Universal post orders for firearm handling, storage, and use of force guidelines

Requirements

• At least 2 years of security-related experience
• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Be at least 21 years of age

Qualifications

• High school diploma and/or GED
