Serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries, deterring security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, and responding to critical situations calmly. Interact with employees and visitors to provide outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the location
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and site leadership
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as needed
- Maintain accurate and detailed logs of all patrols, incidents, and security-related activities
- Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to address questions and provide assistance as needed
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- Subject to a background investigation
- Subject to a drug screen
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of security-related experience
Nice to Have
- CPR certification
- Guard card or license
- Customer service experience
