Security Officer

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in various industries by controlling access, monitoring systems, and responding to incidents. This role involves routine patrols and strong customer service at a chemical and petrochemical location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Control access at entry and exit points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining accurate logs
• Monitor cameras, alarms, and access control systems, reporting irregular conditions to site leadership
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and documenting events
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, process-adjacent areas, and perimeter lines

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of security-related experience
• Valid driver's license
• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of security-related experience

Nice to Have

• Access control and badge experience
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Customer service experience
