Security Officer

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in various industries by performing security-related procedures, responding to incidents, and providing customer service as a part-time Security Officer working weekend day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, which may include chemical and petrochemical environments
• Observe for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security-related concerns and report them according to site procedures
• Assist visitors and employees with inquiries while maintaining a professional presence
• Document and report all incidents, observations, and security-related activities as required by site policies
• Support Allied Universal and client management with site-specific tasks and security-related projects as needed

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
