Serve and safeguard clients in a freight yard environment, conducting patrols, controlling access, and responding to incidents to deter security-related issues. This role offers a flexible part-time schedule for a leading security and facility services company.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to site employees, drivers, and visitors by carrying out security procedures and emergency response activities
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, yard areas, loading docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions
- Control access by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying identification/delivery credentials, and directing visitors and contractors
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating notifications and supporting first responders
- Complete accurate reports and log entries, monitor cameras and alarm systems, and communicate observations to site leadership
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background investigation
- Ability to pass a drug screen
