About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in commercial real estate as an unarmed security officer. Conduct routine patrols, manage access control, and respond to incidents, ensuring a safe and customer-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff, carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior and exterior areas including lobbies, corridors, stairwells, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter points.
  • Monitor access points and respond to access control issues, alarms, and service requests, documenting observations and incidents.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, providing clear direction to occupants and coordinating notifications.
  • Complete required reports such as shift activity logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate pertinent information during shift handoff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age for unarmed roles

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1+ years of security experience

Nice to Have

  • State, county, or city issued security license
  • CPR certification
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet
  • Access control and/or badge experience
