Security Officer

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients in various industries, including Aero/Defense, by monitoring assigned areas, conducting routine patrols, and deterring security-related incidents. This role involves access control, incident reporting, and providing strong customer service in an aerospace and defense location.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following post orders, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response procedures at an aerospace and defense location
• Control access to facilities and restricted areas by verifying identification, authorizations, and/or visitor documentation
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, initiating notifications and documenting observations
• Coordinate with site contacts and/or first responders as appropriate during incidents
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter points to deter unwanted activity and identify security concerns
• Complete detailed reports and logs, monitor alarms and cameras when assigned
• Support security-related audits, inspections, and/or special events per site requirements

Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet
• Customer service experience
