Security Officer - Access Control

About This Role

Serve and safeguard clients by managing access points, verifying credentials, and monitoring activity at a manufacturing and industrial location. Provide professional communication and respond to incidents in a problem-solving manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies
• Control access at entrances and gates by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining logs
• Direct guests to designated areas
• Support industrial operations by coordinating access for deliveries and pickups, checking shipping and receiving paperwork
• Communicate with site contacts regarding arriving vehicles and personnel
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including reporting hazards and policy violations
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter points

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age (for unarmed roles)
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to pass a background investigation
• Ability to pass a drug screen
