Seasonal Warehouse Associate

About This Role

Join a leading children's apparel retailer as a Seasonal Warehouse Associate, performing general distribution center tasks like picking, packing, and material handling in a fun, friendly environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform general distribution center work (picking, packing, material handling, induction, etc.)
• Maintain minimum performance standards while performing required job functions
• Perform the job with the highest standards of quality and accuracy
• Work in any General Warehouse function (anywhere in the building, any channel, at any time during the shift) if instructed
• Use Radio Frequency (RF) equipment, voice picking technology, pick to light and other warehouse management systems
• Use basic computer functions as needed
• Get certified on lift equipment should this be required
• Work safely and abide by all Carter’s Safety rules and procedures

Requirements

• Ability to repetitively lift cases weighing up to fifty pounds
• Ability to stand and work for long periods including daily overtime, holidays and overtime as required
• Ability to work consecutive days during peak season
• Ability to work in varying temperatures
• Ability to abide by all Carter’s policies and procedures, specifically the attendance policy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or a GED preferred, not required
• Six months automated distribution center experience preferred
