Sales Manager

About This Role

Lead a retail store team, foster an inclusive environment, educate on product knowledge, and drive sales for a leading children's apparel retailer. This role will involve being the first point of contact for growing families, introducing baby essentials, and preparing for various milestones in their parenting journey.

Responsibilities

• Become a product and brand expert to assist families from preemie to size 14
• Welcome customers, provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits
• Maintain a genuine customer focus on the sales floor
• Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive environment for employees and customers
• Consistently model service standards and omni-channel experience while coaching others
• Lead and execute assigned business focus areas through planning and detailed follow through
• Perform Leader on Duty supervisor responsibilities, driving results and resolving customer concerns
• Utilize customer feedback to identify opportunities and implement actions to drive results
• Build customer loyalty through Company sponsored programs, including credit
• Offer consistent, in the moment feedback to store team and raise performance concerns to Store Manager
• Recognize exceptional performance through positive reinforcement and appreciation
• Support store team with Asset Protection through customer service, safety awareness, and operational controls

• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation)

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED
