Seasonal Receiver Stocker Days

About This Role

This role provides excellent customer service to Lowe's customers by assisting them with merchandise, answering questions, and ensuring a clean and safe shopping environment. The position involves supporting customers with product selection and store navigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service at all times
• Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
• Respond knowledgeably and promptly to customer questions by guiding them through the store and projects
• Communicate information regarding stock, special order merchandise, features, benefits, and warranty information
• Write customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental and tool repairs (Tool Rental Department)
• Cross-functionally train in other store areas to enhance customer service
• Detect and report signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks to management
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards to maintain store cleanliness and organization
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by following safety procedures and keeping aisles clear
• Adhere to all safety requirements for job duties, including top stock safety and power equipment use
• Operate store equipment such as Zebra phones, computers, and various tools as needed

Requirements

• Less than 1 Year Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information
• Less than 1 Year Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets
• Less than 1 Year Retail experience, performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based on customer needs; explaining warranties, product features, and benefits; assisting customers in locating products; building customer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues; zone recovery; and housekeeping

Qualifications

• Less than 1 year experience using a computer, retail technology, or in retail tasks

Nice to Have

• Ability to obtain sales related licensure or registration as may be required by law
