About This Role

As a Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate at Lowe's, you will ensure merchandise is properly stocked, displayed, and priced according to planograms, while also assisting customers and maintaining a safe store environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SMART customer service through daily execution of Lowe's policies and procedures, engaging with customers to understand and assist with their needs.
  • Build relationships with vendors by providing direction and ensuring merchandise resets are completed per specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and material needs.
  • Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
  • Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build, and display products using power equipment per reset and/or project instructions.
  • Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, deliver to the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area, and verify buyback items for shipping.
  • Identify damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral; order replacements and confirm product pricing information is visible and clear.
  • Update/validate wayfinding and product location signage, ensuring cross merchandise, side stack products, and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately.
  • Review, complete, and enter details for all assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks, including taking and uploading photographs.
  • Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order, repair/seal damaged packaging and boxes, and remove trash and debris to appropriate compactors.
  • Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, promptly communicating them to management and/or Asset Protection.
  • Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards to maintain cleanliness and organization, and adhere to all safety requirements.
  • Maintain point-of-sale signage, audit and update pricing labels for accuracy, and follow state-specific guidelines on price changes.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement

Nice to Have

  • 6 Months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
  • 6 Months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays
  • 3 Months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
