Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate

About This Role

Provide exceptional customer service and ensure merchandise is stocked, priced correctly, and displayed according to planograms. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service, building relationships with vendors and assisting customers with merchandise needs
• Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team to communicate project priorities and needs
• Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build products, and display merchandise using power equipment
• Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, and deliver them to the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping
• Identify damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral and order replacements
• Confirm that product pricing information is visible and clear and resolve/replace any missing labels
• Update/validate wayfinding and product location signage as well as digital maintenance of this information
• Ensure cross merchandise, side stack products, j-hooks and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately
• Review, complete, and enter completion details for all assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks
• Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order and repaired/replaced as needed
• Remove all trash, move cardboard boxes to the bailer, and move plastic wrap and other debris to the compactor
• Replace light bulbs and alert the appropriate contact when additional maintenance issues are noted
• Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, and promptly communicate them to management
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and programs to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and working areas

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
• 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays
• 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
