Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate

About This Role

Provide excellent customer service and maintain organized, well-merchandised product displays, including performing resets and ensuring accurate pricing, at a retail store.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service, engaging with customers when opportunities arise to assist with merchandise needs and projects
• Build relationships with vendors to ensure merchandise resets are completed per Lowe's specifications
• Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and needs
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to relevant leaders
• Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build products, and display products and support materials using power equipment
• Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, and deliver to the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are ready for shipping
• Identify damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral and order replacements
• Confirm product pricing information is visible and clear, resolving/replacing missing labels
• Update/validate wayfinding and product location signage, including digital maintenance
• Ensure cross merchandise, side stack products, j-hooks and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately
• Sort products in bins, drawers, and boxes to ensure proper location
• Merchandise to plantogram, price, color block, and place plants as they arrive, filling plant racks to grand opening ready standards
• Review, complete, and enter completion details for assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks
• Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order and repaired/replaced as needed
• Repair/seal damaged packaging and boxes
• Remove all trash, move cardboard boxes to the bailer, and move plastic wrap and other debris to the compactor
• Replace light bulbs and alert appropriate contacts for additional maintenance issues
• Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, communicating to management and/or Asset Protection
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards (e.g., Zone Recovery) to maintain cleanliness and organization
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment, including conducting daily safety reviews and keeping aisles clear
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties, including top stock safety and use of power equipment safety devices
• Operate store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, lifts, order pickers)
• Maintain point-of-sale signage, including bin and beam label stock, and ensure bin locators are placed and price changes activated
• Audit and update pricing labels inside and outside the store to ensure accuracy
• Follow state-specific guidelines on price changes

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience

Nice to Have

• 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
• 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays
• 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
