Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate

About This Role

This role will support merchandising activities, ensuring products are properly displayed, priced, and in-stock primarily for seasonal projects, with a strong focus on maintaining customer service standards and store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by adhering to Lowe's policies and engaging with customers when opportunities arise
• Build relationships with vendors to ensure merchandise resets align with Lowe’s specifications
• Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager, communicating project priorities and needs
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution to store, market, and corporate leaders
• Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build and display products using power equipment per project instructions
• Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, and deliver them to the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area
• Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping
• Identify damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral, ordering replacements as needed
• Confirm product pricing information is visible and clear, resolving/replacing missing labels
• Update/validate wayfinding and product location signage, including digital maintenance
• Ensure cross merchandise, side stack products, j-hooks and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately
• Review, complete, and enter details for all assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks
• Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order, repairing/replacing as needed
• Remove trash, move cardboard boxes to the bailer, and plastic wrap to the compactor
• Replace light bulbs and alert appropriate contacts for additional maintenance issues
• Detect signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, promptly communicating them to management/Asset Protection
• Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards to maintain cleanliness and organization of store and work areas
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment, including conducting daily safety reviews and keeping aisles clear
• Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to job duties, such as top stock safety and use of aisle blockers
• Operate store equipment as needed depending on role and department (e.g., Zebra phone, lifts, order pickers)
• Maintain point-of-sale signage, bin plus beam label stock, and ensure price changes are activated
• Audit and update pricing labels inside and outside the store for accuracy

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED General Studies

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement

Nice to Have

• 6 Months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
• 6 Months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays
• 3 Months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
