About This Role

Serve as a Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate, providing customer service and ensuring products are in-stock, priced correctly, and displayed according to Lowe's standards. This role focuses on maintaining merchandising and store cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SMART customer service through daily execution of Lowe's policies and procedures
  • Build relationships with vendors to ensure merchandise resets align with specifications
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities and needs
  • Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to leadership
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
  • Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build products, and display per instructions using power equipment
  • Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, and deliver to Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area
  • Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping
  • Identify damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral and order replacements according to merchandising standards
  • Confirm product pricing information is visible and clear and resolve/replace missing labels
  • Update/validate wayfinding and product location signage
  • Ensure cross merchandise, side stack products, j-hooks and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately
  • Work with store leadership to stage clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale
  • Sort products in bins, drawers, and boxes to ensure proper location
  • Merchandise to planogram, price, color block, and place plants as they arrive
  • Fill plant racks onto plant tables per planogram to grand opening ready standards
  • Review, complete, and enter details for all assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order and repaired/replaced as needed
  • Repair/seal damaged packaging and boxes
  • Remove all trash, move cardboard boxes to the bailer, and move plastic wrap and other debris to the compactor
  • Replace light bulbs and alert appropriate contacts for additional maintenance issues
  • Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, and communicate to management and/or Asset Protection
  • Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and programs to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment, including conducting daily safety reviews and noting hazards
  • Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to regular job duties
  • Operate store equipment as needed (e.g., Zebra phone, lifts, order pickers)
  • Maintain point-of-sale signage including bin plus beam label stock ensuring all bin locators are placed and price changes are activated
  • Audit and update pricing labels inside and outside the store to ensure accuracy
  • Follow state-specific guidelines on price changes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience

Nice to Have

  • 6 Months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
  • 6 Months of Experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays
  • 3 Months of Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
