Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate

About This Role

Provide exceptional customer service and ensure merchandise is properly stocked, displayed, and maintained according to Lowe's standards, with a focus on weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide SMART customer service by daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies and procedures
• Build relationships with vendors by providing clear directions and ensuring merchandise resets are completed to specifications
• Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and needs
• Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to leadership
• Engage with customers to understand needs, assist in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
• Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build and display products using power equipment per instructions
• Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, and deliver to the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area
• Update and validate wayfinding and product location signage, including digital maintenance
• Ensure cross merchandise, side stack products, j-hooks, and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately to drive add-on sales
• Review, complete, and enter completion details for all assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks
• Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order, repairing or replacing as needed
• Remove all trash, move cardboard to bailer, and move plastic wrap and other debris to compactor
• Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and security risks, communicating them to management/Asset Protection
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, and securing areas

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement
• Equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement, if applicable. Preferred 6 months of Lowe's sales floor experience or experience performing product merchandising tasks.

Nice to Have

• 6 Months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
• 6 Months of Experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays
• 3 Months of Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
