About This Role

This role provides essential merchandising services and customer support within a retail store environment. Key responsibilities include executing merchandise resets, maintaining product displays and pricing accuracy, and ensuring a clean and safe shopping atmosphere.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SMART customer service by adhering to Lowe's policies and procedures
  • Build vendor relationships and ensure merchandise resets meet Lowe's specifications
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team on project priorities and needs
  • Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution to leadership
  • Engage with customers to assist with product location, demonstration, selection, and loading
  • Move and replace beams and grids, rotate stock, and build/display products using power equipment
  • Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, and deliver to the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area
  • Verify buyback items and ensure they are prepped for shipping
  • Identify and replace damaged or missing signage, displays, and collateral
  • Confirm product pricing information is visible, clear, and accurate
  • Update wayfinding and product location signage, both physical and digital
  • Ensure cross merchandise, side stack products, j-hooks and gravity feed bins are appropriately placed for add-on sales
  • Work with store leadership to stage clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale
  • Sort products in bins, drawers, and boxes to ensure correct placement
  • Merchandise to planogram, price, color block, and place plants upon arrival
  • Fill plant racks onto plant tables per planogram to grand opening ready standards
  • Review, complete, and enter details for assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order, repairing or replacing as needed
  • Repair or seal damaged packaging and boxes, including peg-hook items
  • Remove trash and move cardboard/plastic debris to appropriate compactors
  • Replace light bulbs and alert contacts for additional maintenance issues
  • Detect signs of shoplifting, theft, and security risks, communicating to management
  • Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards for cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment, including daily safety reviews and keeping aisles clear
  • Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to role, including top stock safety and power equipment use
  • Operate store equipment such as Zebra phone, paging system, computers, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer, and flooring cutters
  • Maintain point-of-sale signage including bin plus beam label stock and activate price changes
  • Audit and update pricing labels inside and outside the store for accuracy
  • Follow state-specific guidelines on price changes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement

Nice to Have

  • 6 Months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
  • 6 Months of Experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays
  • 3 Months of Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
