The Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate provides excellent customer service, ensures product is in-stock and merchandised according to planograms, and maintains clean and safe store environments. This role supports the merchandising team by executing resets and projects, primarily focusing on tasks that do not involve direct customer interaction but requires engagement when opportunities arise.
Responsibilities
- Provide SMART customer service consistent with Lowe's policies, procedures, and programs.
- Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager to communicate project priorities, schedules, and needs.
- Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build products, and display products and support materials using power equipment as per instructions.
- Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, deliver them to the Return to Manufacturer (RTM) area, and sign off as defective.
- Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order, repairing or replacing as needed.
- Replenish light bulbs and alert the appropriate contact for additional maintenance issues.
- Detect signs of shoplifting, theft, and security risks, communicating promptly to management or Asset Protection.
- Operate store equipment such as Zebra phone, telephone, paging system, copiers, fax machines, computers, CCTV surveillance system, key cutter, panel saw, paint mixer, flooring cutters, compacter baler.
- Maintain point-of-sale signage including bin and beam label stock and ensure all bin locators are placed and price changes are activated.
- Audit and update pricing labels inside and outside the store to ensure accuracy, following state-specific guidelines on price changes.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED General Studies
Nice to Have
- 6 Months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
- 6 Months of Experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays
- 3 Months of Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
