About This Role

This role provides merchandising service and customer support, focusing on maintaining in-stock conditions and ensuring a clean, safe store environment, with a preference for weekend availability.

Responsibilities

  • Provide SMART customer service by executing Lowe's policies and procedures and engaging with customers when opportunities arise
  • Build relationships with vendors to ensure merchandise resets are completed to Lowe’s specifications
  • Collaborate with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities and needs
  • Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to leadership
  • Assist customers in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise
  • Move or replace beams and grids, rotate stock, build products, and display merchandise using power equipment
  • Identify damaged products, remove them from shelves, and deliver to the RTM area
  • Verify and prep buyback items for shipping
  • Identify damaged or missing signage and order replacements in accordance with merchandising standards
  • Confirm product pricing information is visible and clear, resolving missing labels
  • Update/validate wayfinding and product location signage, including digital maintenance
  • Ensure cross merchandise, side stack products, j-hooks and gravity feed bins are placed appropriately
  • Work with store leadership to stage clearance and damaged merchandise for quick sale
  • Sort products in bins, drawers, and boxes to ensure proper location
  • Merchandise to planogram, price, color block, and place plants as they arrive
  • Review, complete, and enter completion details for assigned merchandise reset, service, and maintenance tasks
  • Ensure all reset displays are safe and in working order, repairing/replacing as needed
  • Repair/seal damaged packaging and boxes
  • Remove all trash and debris to appropriate disposal areas
  • Replace light bulbs and alert appropriate contact for additional maintenance issues
  • Detect common signs of shoplifting, theft, and other security risks, reporting to management and/or Asset Protection
  • Ensure compliance with housekeeping standards and programs to maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment, including daily safety reviews and keeping aisles clear
  • Adhere to all safety requirements relevant to regular job duties, such as top stock safety and use of safety devices
  • Operate store equipment as needed depending on specific role and department
  • Maintain point-of-sale signage including bin plus beam label stock and activate price changes
  • Audit and update pricing labels inside and outside the store to ensure accuracy
  • Follow state-specific guidelines on price changes

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent experience

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED General Studies or equivalent years of experience in lieu of education requirement

Nice to Have

  • 6 Months of Lowe’s sales floor experience
  • 6 Months of Experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays
  • 3 Months of Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment
